How long will it take to install a Timberlite roof?

For a standard size traditional style conservatory, the whole project usually takes 3 to 5 days. Although in some cases it can take as little as two days!

How long are Timberlite roofs Guaranteed for?

Each Timberlite roof is guaranteed for 10 years. 

Do Timberlite roofs comply with all necessary building regulations?

The Timberlite roof system has been awarded the approved system certification by the JHAI  which are an independently approved building regulations authority.

Are Timberlite roofs weather tight?  
   
Timberlite Roofs are indeed weather tight. Once the roof is fitted and the timber structure is in place a breathable membrane is put on the roof, once this has been completed the roof will be water proof.

Is there a threat of condensation? 

Unlike aluminium, timber is not a thermal conductor and, therefore, poses no risk of condensation. Furthermore, we have strived to ensure the roof system is ventilated throughout and the condensation risk analysis report has been approved by the JHAI.

Are Timberlite roofs easy to install?

Our system can easily be installed by one man, Timberlite utilises lightweight trusses and a slotted ring beam system. Each truss can be lifted into position with ease. Furthermore, Timberlite roofs weigh 25% less that an aluminium counterpart and use 9.5mm plasterboard as opposed to 72mm insulated plasterboard. This saves you from heavy lifting and tedious cutting and fitting. 

Is everything included in the roof kit?

Included in the kit: Installation guide, ring beam, trusses, laths, screws, fixings, insulation boards pre-cut to size, insulation blanket, tiles pre-cut (Britmet only), guttering, ventilated fascia board, soffit board, sealant, expanding foam. Everything except the plasterboards are supplied to successfully install a Timberlite roof.
