Improved Insulation by 50% In an age when energy efficiency is paramount our product outperforms standard glass units by 50%, thereby reducing potentially expensive heating bills. A unique micro-coating is applied to Celsius, which ensures heat from inside the home if reflected back into the property rather than lost through the glazing. Thanks to this feature, Celsius has a U-value of just 1.4. Greater Heat Reflection by 72% Our unique solar coating reflects around 72% of total solar energy. This is nearly three times that of standard glass. The micro-coating applied to Celsius gives it a solar factor of 28%. Its ability to reflect so much solar heat can prevent conservatories from overheating during hot weather. Reduced Glare by 44% Celsius glass reduced glare by 44% all year round compared to a standard double glazed unit. The subtle blue tint applied to the glass gives a visible light transmittance of 45% and reduces the uncomfortable glare that can occur with ordinary glass products. At the same time, it still allows sufficient light through for the conservatory to be enjoyed on duller days. Improved Sound Insulation A further impressive benefit of Celsius is its ability to significantly reduce the impact of outside noise levels.
